The owner of this Mercedes-Benz S 580 wanted to upgrade the audio system, focusing on more bass. An Alpine setup was installed with the amplifier hidden to maintain a factory look. We used an AudioControl LC2i PRO, which is a 2-channel active line output converter (LOC) that converts high-voltage factory speaker signals into clean, low-level RCA outputs for aftermarket amplifiers, featuring AccuBASS to restore lost bass, GTO Signal Sense for auto turn-on, and an included ACR-1 remote bass knob, making it ideal for upgrading OEM audio systems without replacing the head unit.
